Recreational Scuba Diver Training

All of our recreational scuba diver training is conducted and certified through SDI. We are able to offer the full range of SDI recreational diver training courses and diver specialities.

Whether you’re trying scuba for the first time, becoming a certified diver, adding to your diving abilities, or becoming a dive professional, we have you covered. See the SDI course list for a summary of the recreational diver training courses and speciality courses available to you. What ever your level we are here to help develop you as a diver and thrive at the sport you love.

We are based in Sant Vicenç De Montalt, a small costal village approx. 35 minutes NE of Barcelona. We are ideally situated between Barcelona and Girona airports and close to renowned dive locations of the Costa del Maresme and the Costa Brava.

Course Locations

We run our recreational diver training courses and diver specialities primarily from here in Spain. The vast majority of our courses are run in Tossa De Mar straight from the beach, out of Port Balis in Sant Andreu de Llavaneres, or over at the idyllic Medes Islands in Estartit. However, if we need to hit a particular wreck or dive site we often move further northeast along the coastline into L’Escala or Palamos to use one of the regular departures from there.

Additional Information

  1. Our recreational courses will be conducted using open circuit, in backmount configuration, using single cylinder arrangements. The only exception to this is the Solo Diver and Sidemount specialties, where an appropriate redundant system will be utilised.
  2. Course prices include gas fills & cylinders, rental of basic scuba equipment, boat fees (if appropriate), agency certification and training fees. All of our courses are priced assuming the student will complete self study via the eLearning modules.
  3. All of our recreational training is provided on a fixed rate basis. Students requiring practical remediation are given additional time/attention to assist with completing course requirements. However, if further remediation beyond this is required they are invited to join the next appropriate course.
  4. All students are required to have a valid and in date medical certificate prior to commencing training with us. This is a legal requirement for scuba diving here in Catalonia.
