It is a small dive site that is mainly of interest because of the plane wreckage. There isn’t a great deal left of the plane but it is just about recognisable as such. There are some rock formations of approx 30-35 length wise that protrude a maximum of 1m from the sea bed.
There were the normal amounts of fish life and nudibranchs etc. Visibility was better at depth and became slightly milky towards the surface.
- Exact coordinates unknown
- Approx 1km off shore opposite Arenys De Mar
Immersions available from Port Balis. Time to site is approx 30-35 mins.
It is a twin-engine plane that came down in an accident in 1992, which now rests at -37 meters
